Hemp, often called hemp seed oil, is derived from hemp, a cannabis plant that is related to marijuana but has little to no tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive ingredient. Hemp includes cannabidiol (CBD), a substance that has been used to treat a variety of conditions, including anxiety and epilepsy, in place of THC.
Hemp is becoming more and more well-liked as a treatment for a variety of ailments, such as stress and skin problems. Further research is required; however, it might have qualities that lower the risk of conditions including Alzheimer’s and cardiovascular disease. Additionally, hemp oil may lessen inflammatory responses in the body.
Hemp oil includes significant amounts of omega-6 and omega-3 fats, two kinds of unsaturated fats known as “good fats,” in addition to CBD.
